Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to Trattoria Delia's recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed consistently.
- Assist in menu planning and daily specials, contributing creative ideas.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in training and mentoring of new kitchen staff.
- Adapt to changing menu items and seasonal ingredients with flexibility.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for food presentation.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
